Not working consistently

I bought this 6 months ago to replace my beloved GE convection/microwave that died after 15 years. The 10yr guarantee on the magnetron was a deciding factor vs other brands and past good experience with Maytag. Not very happy with it as within the past month it works periodically. Seems I have to hold the door up for it to work. I had read about door issues. Certainly not the quality of my old GE as door and latches are plastic. Will enter the usually frustrating world of service repair....there is no more Maytag store or Maytag man.

Over 2 months and still no stove and refrigerator

Ordered a complete kitchen package on 7/10/19. Stove and refrigerator came in damaged twice. Lady said the second time that they would try to expedite the items. Did not offer this the first time. Asked for a manager or director to please call me. No response at all. Got rid of our older appliances the day before our first scheduled delivery to make the delivery go smoothly. Had to buy a toaster oven and been buying ice for coolers and using an old refrigerator in the garage to try to get by. A lot of processed food and take out expense. Would not recommend any Maytag products at this time. Microwave seems to be fine.

After years of fancier OTR microwaves, this one is just enough for two senior citizens. It is easy to use and has the convenient guide on the front door frame. By far the best one yet.

I bought this microwave to replace an older model. It works great and has a lot of nice features that our old one did not have. I would have given a five star rating, but the door latch does not work as well as our old one and the touch controls are not sensitive enough.

I bought this microwave after my appliance dealer suggested it. The microwave is great...my only wish is that the designers find a way to have the lights moved forward to better see what is cooking on the stove like my old stove hood.

We had to replace our GE microwave and chose the Maytag since it is made in America and we have other Maytag appliances. It works well and fit in the space over the stove. There are several options for cooking, reheating, etc. The fan is much quieter. The one item I do miss is the express cooking that the GE had. We have only had this for a few weeks so as to quality, I cannot address that. Hopefully it will last longer than 4 years.
